blade-controlswitch.Movethemotion-controllevers
outwardtotheneutralposition,engageparkingbrake,stop
theengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
Lowerthemowertothelowestheight-of-cut.Selectoneof
thefollowingproceduresdependingonthemowerdecksize
installedtocompletetheremoval.
PreparingtoRemovetheMowerDeck
1.Lowerthemowertothe76mm(3inch)height-of-cut
position.
2.Removethemowerbeltfromtheenginepulley;refer
toRemovingtheMowerBelt(page45).
RemovingtheMowerDeck
1.Removethehairpincotterandwashersecuringthe
long,linkpintotheframeanddeck;removethelink
bar(Figure68).
