What to do if a station does not turn on with my Toro TMC-212 Controller?

  If a station on your Toro Controller isn't turning on, it could be due to a faulty wire connection at the station module, a shorted valve wire connection, a faulty solenoid, or the Electronic Fuse has disabled station operation. Try removing the wire from the station module and strip back the insulation to expose 1/8" (3mm) of bare wire when fully inserted. Also, repair any faulty wire connections and inspect the solenoid, repairing or replacing it if necessary.

  If a station on your Toro Controller is not turning off, it might be because no station time was entered or due to a valve problem, generally caused by a bonnet leak or corroded solenoid. Ensure a station time has been entered. Inspect the valve bonnet seal and/or solenoid, and replace them if needed.

  If a program starts again after completing a watering cycle on your Toro Controller, the Season Adjust setting might be greater than 100%, or watering programs have overlapping start times (stacked). Review the Season Adjust factor and reset it to 100%. Also, reduce station times and change or remove program start times.

  If the display is blank and the Toro Controller is not operating, the main power may be disconnected. Check the transformer connections (indoor model) or the circuit breaker at the service panel (outdoor model).
