Converting PPS to GPM/LPM
The flow meter measures water flow in PPS (Pulses per Second). To convert
PPS to GPM (Gallons per Minute) or LPM (Liters per Minute), use the following
formula:
To convert PPS to GPM:
K x (F + Offset) = GPM
Where: K = K value of meter
F = Flow rate in PPS
Offset = Offset value of meter
Example (flow meter 228PV15xx-xxx is installed):
K = 1.699
F = 40 PPS
Offset = -0.316
1.699 x (40 - 0.316) = 67 GPM
To convert GPM to LPM:
GPM x 3.7854 = LPM
67 x 3.7854 = 254 LPM
