13.Assemble shift arms:
A. Install new oil seals into transaxle case. Apply
multi−purpose grease on lips of oil seals before
installing.
B. Install keeper plates and tighten flange head
screws to a torque from 11 to 13 ft−lb (15 to 17
N−m).
C. Apply Loctite #680 (or equivalent) to threads and
tapers of shift fork arms.
D. Install shift arms. Install shift arm assembly.
E. Install lock nuts. Tighten shift arm retaining lock
nuts to a torque from 230 to 240 in−lb (26 to 27
N−m).

14.Install oil cap with O−ring. Apply multi−purpose
grease to O−ring.
15.If removed, install air breather. Use sealing tape on
threads of air breather.
