When replacing the drum cleaning unit, check that there is no gap between the blade and felt on
both ends. If there is, or when the felts put pressure to the cleaning blade, reattach the felts on
the position shown in the figure (by slightly pushing them to the direction of the arrows).

* G5: Recovery blade
Clean the surface of the recovery blade with a soft pad or cloth, if dirt cannot be removed with a
vacuum cleaner. If the edge of recovery blade is damaged, replace the blade regardless of the
number of output pages.
Never use water or alcohol for cleaning the transfer belt recovery blade.
