4 Replacement Procedures 4.1 General
Removing the Memory Card
Remove the memory card according to the following procedures and Figure 4-4, after
checking that the computer is turned off in boot mode.
1. Open the card cover.
2. Push the memory card to be removed until it stops then release the memory card.
3. When the memory card pops out, grasp it and pull it out.

Installing the Memory Card
Install the memory card according to the following procedures and Figure 4-4, after checking
that the computer is turned off in boot mode.
1. Insert the memory card gently until it stops and is seated securely.
2. Checking that the memory card is seated securely.
After the PC card is installed, check the hardware configuration in the Hardware Setup or
TSETUP program to make sure that the PC card is compatible with the current hardware
configuration.
