4. Connecting to the network
4.1. Installation method
(1) Using the DIP switch on the PROFIBUS option, set a station address (Refer to Section
4.2).
(2) Connect a PROFIBUS connector to the PDP002Z. (Refer to Section 2.1.)
* If the PDP002Z is located at an end of the bus, connect a terminal resistor to it. (When
using a connector with termination resistor, set it ON.)
(3) Once all the parameters are set, the power must be cycled to the VF-AS1 for these
changes to take effect. (Refer to Section 5.)
