(a) Warm up the engine to 80°C (176°F) .
(b) Connect a voltmeter to check connector terminals
VF or VF1 and El .
(c) Connect terminal T or TE1 with terminal El
of the
check connector .

(d) Warm up the
lean mixture sensor to operating
temperature by running the engine at idle for at
least 10 minutes .
(e) To start feedback correction, race the engine at
3,500 rpm, then repeat 20 seconds later
.
(f) While the maintaining engine speed at 1,500 rpm,
check the VF terminal voltage .
