Protect Vehicle and Disconnect Battery

Ensure vehicle protection and safely disconnect the battery before starting installation.

Apply Vehicle Protection

Apply protective coverings to seats, dash, and center console to prevent damage.

Install Windshield Base Plate

Clean windshield area and securely attach the base plate using the provided template.

Remove Roof Console

Carefully detach the roof console by releasing front and rear clips to access wiring.

Remove the TSS Cover

Rotate mirror down and remove the two-piece mirror cover plate to access TSS cover.

Install the Y-Harness

Connect the Y-harness between the vehicle mirror connector and the dashcam harness.

Reinstall the TSS Cover

Reinstall the TSS cover and mirror cover plate, ensuring all clips are engaged.

Affix Dashcam to Base Plate

Route dashcam pigtail through headliner notch and attach dashcam unit to base plate.

Hook Harness Protector under Headliner

Pull headliner down slightly and hook the harness protector securely under the headliner.

Route/Bundle Wire Harness

Gather and bundle dashcam and Y-harness wires, securing them with wire ties.

Reassemble the Console

Reconnect roof console connectors and reinstall the console, ensuring clips engage.

Reconnect Battery

Reconnect the negative battery cable and tighten to the specified torque value.

Reinstall Battery Cover and Remove Protective Covering

Reinstall the battery service hole cover and remove any vehicle protective coverings.

Final Checks and Verification

Accessory Function Checks

Verify dashcam startup, LED lights, and ensure no continuous beep on vehicle startup.

Vehicle Function Checks

Confirm standard lighting and roof console functions operate correctly after installation.

Vehicle Appearance Check

Visually inspect for any damage, scuffs, or scratches caused during installation.
