Troubleshooting
Device does not switch on
Cause 1:
Mains lead not plugged in correctly.
Remedy:
Check connection, push connector in rmly.
Cause 2:
Mains fuse burned out.
Remedy:
Have the mains fuse replaced by an authorised specialist workshop. The rating of the replacement fuse
must agree with the specication printed on the unit.
The device responds correctly to manual operation of the buttons on the front
panel, but does not respond to remote control commands
Cause:
The battery of the FM8 remote control is completely discharged.
Remedy:
Charge the FM8‘s built-in battery at the Charge socket on the back panel of the HA 200.
No audio les can be played from a Windows computer connected via USB
Cause:
For the playback via USB from a Windows PC drivers must be installed.
Remedy:
Download the driver package from the T+A homepage and install it as described in the installation
instructions.
One or more sources cannot be selected using the source selection buttons on
the device and the remote control.
Cause:
The source in question has been disabled.
Remedy:
Open the system settings menu and activate the deactivated source.
Many problems have a simple cause and a correspondingly simple solution. The following section describes a few
difculties you may encounter, and the measures you need to take to cure them. If you nd it impossible to solve
a problem with the help of these notes please disconnect the unit from the mains and ask your authorised T+A
specialist dealer for advice.
