Three separate equalizers are available for the left and right channels. The
equalizers can be adjusted most accurately with the help of a calibration
microphone. On the  website you will find a PC program designed to
measure your room acoustics, and adjust the P 3000 HV’s equalizers; it can be
downloaded at no charge.
If a calibration microphone and the PC program are not available, the settings
can also be made using your own hearing. To this end the PA 3000 HV is sup-
plied complete with an audio CD containing test signals, whose purpose is to
help you set up the system. You will find instructions on the correct procedure in
the chapter entitled “Equalizer settings using the  Test CD”.
Equalizer adjustment range

All the functions of the tone processor are accessed and controlled using the
TONE menu (see next chapter).
