Why does my TR-Electronic C__-58 have position skips?

Position skips in the TR-Electronic Media Converter measuring system can stem from strong vibrations, electrical faults (EMC), or extreme axial and radial load on the shaft. To address vibrations, consider using 'shock modules' to dampen impacts and shocks, especially on presses. For electrical faults, isolated flanges and plastic couplings, along with twisted-pair cables for data and supply, may help. Ensure shielding and wire routing adhere to PROFIBUS construction guidelines. To mitigate mechanical stress on the shaft, use couplings. If position skips persist after these measures, the measuring system might need replacement.
