Position the load as far forward, and as low as possible in the truck bed.
Secure all loads before operating. Unsecured loads can shift andcreateunstable operat-
ingconditions.
Operating the vehiclewith passengers in the truck bed can
result in severe injury or death. Never allow a passengerto
ride in the truck bed. Passengers must alwaysride seated in
the passengerseat.
Drive slowly andcarefully.
Operate onlywith stable and safely arranged loads. When
handling loadsthat are impossible to centerinthe truck bed,
make sure the load is secured as tightly as possible and oper-
ate the vehiclewithextra caution.
Always attach atow load to the rear hitch of the vehicle.
Reduce speed and allowgreater distances for braking when haulingcargo.
Heavy loads affect braking andhandlingcharacteristics. Useextra caution when apply-
ingbrakes with a heavily loaded vehicle. Avoid terrain or situations that may require
reversedownhill travel.
Useextra caution whenoperatingwith loadsthat extend overthe truck bed sides. Stabil-
ity andmaneuverabilitycan be affected and increase the risk of a rollover.
This vehicle is designed to carry or tow specific capacities. Read and comply with the load distribution warnings on the
warning label affixed to the bed. The total load (operator, passenger, accessories, cargo and load on hitch) must never
exceed the maximum weight capacity of the vehicle.
