SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IDENTIFYING UNIT SAFETY AND
WARNING DECALS
Serial number decals, refrigerant type decals
and warning decals appear on all Thermo
King
®
equipment. These decals provide
information that may be needed to service or
repair the unit. Service technicians should read
and follow the instructions on all warning
decals. See Figure .
LOCATING SERIAL NUMBERS
Serial numbers can be found on the
component’s nameplate.
• Electric Motor Nameplate: Attached to the
motor housing.
• Compressor Nameplate: On front of the
compressor.
• Unit Nameplate: On unit frame in power
cord storage compartment.
• MP-4000 Controller Nameplate: On top of
controller.
