6.1 WHAT ARE SYSTOLIC PRESSURE AND DIASTOLIC PRESSURE?
When ventricles contract and pump blood out of
the heart, blood pressure reaches its maximum
value, the highest pressure in the cycle is known as
systolic pressure.
