Mounting the Protection Skirt
Hold the protection skirt (1), fit it into the
guiding-hole (2) on the aluminium bar of the
transmission gearbox, place the footstrap (3), the
bolts (4), the fixing nut (5) and tighten them.
Warning!
Never operate your mower without
the protection skirt, specially if you are
using the nylon spool, because then
you won’t have the limiting blade for
the cutting area and the motor will burn
from overcharging.
Using the equipment without the
protection skirt is considered loss of
warranty.

Then put the locking pin (1) in the adjusting
hole on the washer (2) to coincide with the
hole on the blade's support base (3) to lock it
into place. Use the blade's mounting key (4)
to loosen the mounting nut (5), observing that
the threading is on the left. Remove the lock
washer (6), the plain washer (7) and place the
blade (8).
To mount follow the reverse order in the
same sequence.
Warning!
Never hold the blade when you have to
tighten or loosen the mounting nut - you
might get badly hurt.
Never use blades with external diameter
over 25.5 cm.
When using the nylon filament spool obey
the maximum filament length (10 cm). Out
of specification length can lead to motor
burning and loss of warranty.
The cutting blade’s fitting hole measures 1
inch (2.54 cm).
