Attention!
If equipment is not used for more than 30 (thirty) days, you may run out of battery.
To prevent corrosion and loss of power during long storage, disconnect battery cables.
Disconnected cables must not get in touch with battery terminals.
TRAPP machines already leave the factory with the
belt clearance adjusted for safe and effective work,
but with the equipment’s usage time this clearance
can increase, due to the belts being stretched by the
work performed. When this clearance increases,
we must adjust it to continue guaranteeing good
equipment performance and ensuring operator
safety. The ideal belt clearance (6) is 10 mm, as
shown in the image above.
To adjust this belt clearance, just follow the steps
below and follow gure 6:
1. First, remove the belt guard to better visualize the
belt clearance.
2. After removing belt guard, loosen the screws (1) that
secure the transmission box (5) just to keep the box
slightly loose and to be able to move it forward or
backward.
3. By loosening the nut (3) and tightening the nut
(2), you will be stretching the belts, removing the
excessive clearance from the belts, and by loosening
the nut (2) and tightening the nut (3) you will be
increasing the clearance in the belts.
4. After making the necessary and desired adjustment,
make sure that nuts 1, 2, and 3 are properly
tightened.
5. Replace the belt guard.
