This Traulsen unit is built to our highest quality standards. We build our refrigerators, freezers and heat-

All Traulsen units are placed on a permanent record le with the service department. In the event of any future
questions you may have, please refer to the model and serial number found on the name tag afxed to the unit.

      If the door open icon is continually illuminated on your Traulsen Refrigerator, first ensure that the door is fully closed. If the icon remains lit, the door switch may be faulty and need replacement.

    Why is my Traulsen Refrigerator condensing unit running constantly?

      If your Traulsen Refrigerator's condensing unit runs for extended periods or continuously, several factors could be the cause. Check if the doors are closing correctly and clean the condenser or filter. If the evaporator coil is iced, defrost it (see instructions for setting a manual defrost cycle on page 15). A shortage of refrigerant could also be the issue, in which case you should call for service.

    How to fix a Traulsen Refrigerator when the food compartment is too warm?

      If your Traulsen Refrigerator's food compartment is too warm, start by checking the door(s) and gasket(s) for a proper seal. If you've recently added a large quantity of warm food or kept the door open, allow the refrigerator adequate time to return to its normal operating temperature. Also, verify that the INTELA-TRAUL® setting isn't too high; readjust it according to the instructions on page 11.

      If your Traulsen Refrigerator's food compartment is too cold, it might be due to adding a large quantity of very cold or frozen food. Allow adequate time for the cabinet to recover its normal operating temperature. You may also need to adjust the INTELA-TRAUL® to a warmer setting; see page 12 for instructions.

    Why is there condensation on the outside of my Traulsen A Series Refrigerator?

      If you see condensation on the exterior surface of your Traulsen Refrigerator, ensure the doors are sealing properly by checking the door alignment and gaskets. Condensation can also occur during periods of high humidity. To alleviate this, adjust the INTELA-TRAUL® “Dewpoint Compensation Factor,” see page 17.
