What to do if my Tripp Lite PINV300SW-120 Inverter is overloaded?
    • M
      morgandavisAug 11, 2025
If your Tripp Lite Inverter is overloaded, it means the equipment you're using is drawing too much power. You should reduce the load by disconnecting some devices. Then, either restart the inverter by switching it off and on again, or wait 4-6 minutes for the inverter to automatically recover and resume operation.

Why is my Tripp Lite PINV300SW-120 Inverter overheating, and how to fix it?
    • T
      Tracey MaddoxAug 18, 2025
The Tripp Lite Inverter may be overheating because the internal temperature has exceeded 176°F (80°C). To resolve this, allow the inverter to cool down. Ensure that the cooling slots are not blocked to allow proper airflow. The inverter should automatically resume operation once the internal temperature decreases to 140°F+/-41°F (60°C+/-5°C).

Why does my Tripp Lite Inverter have a low-voltage alarm and cutoff?
    • K
      Keith ScottAug 26, 2025
The low-voltage alarm and cutoff on your Tripp Lite Inverter activate when the power input from the vehicle’s battery drops to approximately 10.5V +/- 0.3V DC. To fix this, start the vehicle to recharge the battery. The inverter will automatically resume operation when the voltage is above 12V+/-0.3V.

What causes the overvoltage alarm and shutdown in my Tripp Lite Inverter?
    • M
      Megan WongSep 3, 2025
The overvoltage alarm and shutdown occur when the power input from the vehicle’s battery exceeds 16V+/-0.3V DC. The Inverter will automatically resume operation when the voltage drops below 14V+/-0.3V DC.
