BRUSH REPLACEMENT
The carbon brushes are a consumable item
which should be inspected periodically and
replaced when worn. Failure to do so may
result in damage to the motor.
1. With the router disconnected from power,
unscrew the Brush Caps (8) located on
the front and rear of the motor.
2. Remove the brushes by pulling carefully on
the protruding springs.
3. If either of the
brushes is worn to
less than 6mm long,
they must both be
replaced using genuine
Triton replacement
brushes - available
from Authorised Triton Repair Centres.
POWER CORD REPLACEMENT
If the supply cord needs replacing, the
task must be carried out by the
manufacturer, the manufacturer’s agent,
or an authorised service centre in order
to avoid a safety hazard.
