Pairing a Phone
To pair a phone with the motorcycle:
1. Activate
Bluetooth
on the phone.
2. Make sure that the phone is
Discoverable.
3. Press the HOME button to display
the Main Menu.
4. Use the joystick to select Bluetooth
> Devices > Pair Device.
The My Triumph Connectivity
Module searches for
Bluetooth
-
enabled devices within range.
To cancel the search, select Stop
Search.
5. When the phone is detected, use
the joystick to select it.
A
Bluetooth
Pairing Request will be
displayed on the phone.
6. Touch Pair on the phone to accept
the request.
7. Press the HOME button to exit
menus.
More than one phone can be paired with
the motorcycle. However, only one
phone can be connected to the
motorcycle at one time. The phone is
assigned to the rider.
After the phone and motorcycle have
been paired, they connect automatically
whenever they are within range,
provided that the phone has
Bluetooth
on and the motorcycle has the ignition
on.
The My Triumph Connectivity Module
interrogates the phone for new
information:
• Contacts, call list and status
information
• Navigation status
• Phone call status
• Music player status.
This interrogation continues as long as
the phone is connected to the
motorcycle, whether the motorcycle is
stationary or moving. The information is
deleted when the phone is
disconnected.
