      Your Troy-Bilt Snow Blower might fail to start due to several reasons: 1. The choke might not be in the CHOKE position. Move the choke to the CHOKE position. 2. The spark plug wire might be disconnected. Connect the wire to the spark plug. 3. The fuel tank might be empty or contain stale fuel. Fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline. 4. The engine might not be primed. Prime the engine as instructed in the Operation section. 5. The spark plug might be faulty. Clean, adjust the gap, or replace it. 6. The key might not be fully inserted into the ignition switch. Insert the key fully into the switch.

The auger control cable might need adjustment. Refer to Auger Control Test. 4. The auger belt might be loose or damaged. Refer to Maintenance & Adjustments section. 5. Shear pins might be sheared. Replace them with new shear pins.
