Attaching Grass Catcher
• Lift the rear discharge door and place the grass
catcher on the pivot rod. Let go of discharge door
so that it rests on the grass catcher. See Figure 6.

Converting To Mulcher
• Lift the rear discharge door on the mower and lift
the grass catcher up. Release the discharge door
to allow it to close the rear opening of the mower.
Converting To Side Discharge
• Make sure the grass catcher is off the unit and the
rear discharge door is closed. Refer to Figure 7.
• On the side of the mower, lift the mulching plug.
See Figure 7.
• Slide the two hooks of the side-discharge chute
under the hinge pin on the mulching plug assembly.
Lower the side mulching plug.
• Do not remove the side mulching plug at any time,
even when you are not mulching.
