Why does my Tru-Test Scanner only scan an EID tag for a short time?

  If your Tru-Test Scanner only scans an EID tag for a short time, it is likely because the Read Mode is set to Standard or Single. This is normal operation for these modes. In Standard and Single read modes, the stick reader will stop scanning after 3 seconds if no tag is read, unless you hold the Scan key. If you want continuous scanning, set the Read Mode to Continuous. To change the Read Mode, go to Home, then Settings, then Tag Reading.

Alternatively, the battery may be too low, so recharge it using the USB power adapter.

If the setting is enabled and it still doesn't vibrate, the vibrator motor might be faulty, and you should consider replacing it.
