AIS-CTRX Class B AIS Transponder Manual
AIS Class A Transponders will transmit the following data that can be received from your AIS-CTRX:
Static Information Dynamic Information Voyage related Information
Name Position Destination
Type of ship Speed Over Ground Depth
Call sign Course Over Ground ETA
MMSI number Rate Of Turn Navigational Status
IMO number Heading
Size
AIS Class B Transponders will transmit the following data that can be received from your AIS-CTRX:
Static Information Dynamic Information Voyage related Information
Name Position None
Type of ship Speed Over Ground
Call sign Course Over Ground
MMSI number Heading (If applied)
Size
Note: Sometimes ships have not properly programmed their AIS transponders and parts of above-
mentioned information can then be missing.
