Adjusting the Strimmer Fibre
Warning! The thread spool still runs for a short
while after the engine has been turned off.
Keep your hands and feet away from the
rotation area. Wait until it comes to a dead stop
before adjusting the fibre.
When the strimmer fibre becomes too short due to wearing
tap the strimmer spool slightly on solid ground several times. The
thread is unlocked and extended due to centrifugal force and
then automatically cut to the required length.
Cleaning the Air Filter
Clean the air filter from dust and dirt on a regular basis,
approximately every 8 hours of use to prevent, starting
problems. loss of output and/or too high fuel consumption.
Put the choke lever to the position OFF to prevent dirt
from entering the carburetor.
Remove the air filter housing using the screwdriver.
Remove the air filter cover.
Remove the air filter.
Wash the air filter in a luke- warm soapy solution.
Do not puff/blow out dirt particles, otherwise there is a risk of
eye injury.
Allow the air filter to dry well and reinsert it.
Place the air filter cover on the air filter and screw on the
air filter housing.
