If the Grass Strimmer/Brush Cutter is to be out of operation for a
long period of time, say one month or over winter, take action as
follows:
 Drain the oil and fuel tank.
 Remove and clean the string coil and the blade.
 Wipe the string coil and the blade dry.
 Wipe the external part of the device with a soft cloth
soaked in fine suds.
 Store the set at an elevated locked place outside the
reach of children.
 Store the set in a dry place.
 The blade should be packed and stored safely.
Following these precautions:
 Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the
equipment is in safe working conditions.
 Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a
building where fumes may reach an open flame or spark.
 Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
