      Static or interference with your TV Ears Speakers might occur if: the audio cord is plugged into an analog (RCA) audio OUT port; the audio cord is NOT plugged into a digital audio out port; the transmitter isn't plugged into a working power outlet; the audio cord isn't fully plugged into the transmitter's audio port; the transmitter's infrared lights aren't facing the headset or aren't illuminated; the transmitter isn't 3-5 feet off the ground; large windows are uncovered.

      To check the TV Ears Speakers transmitter lights, cup your hand over the lights to see if 5 infrared lights are glowing red. Also, ensure the AC power adapter is completely plugged into the power outlet and the 12V port on the back of the transmitter.

      If you hear a television station when watching a DVD or video with your TV Ears Speakers, turn off the cable or satellite box when watching a DVD or video. Note: This is only if the audio cord is plugged into the audio out port of a cable or satellite and DVD or VCR player. See Question 4 of FAQs.
