▶ CHECKING AND CHANGING TRANSMISSION FLUID
<Inspection>
1. Park tractor on level surface.
2. Lower t
he implements to ground.
3. Shutoff engine.
Allow transmission oil to cool
enough.
4. Check the level with the sight
window on rear side of the
transmission in rear of the seat.
If the level is low add oil through
the filler hole.
5. Fill t
he engine oil to the correct
level on the dipstick.
6. The grade of oil to be used will
depend on ambient temperature.
If engine oil gets on your skin, it can
irritate the skin and cause a skin
condition.
Make sure to clean your skin with soap
and water or hand cleaner thoroughly.
Make sure to cool down the engine
sufficiently before draining oil.
Oil is very hot and can cause a burn if
changing oil right after the engine is
stopped.
CAUTION
Do not add engine oil over the upper
limit level.
Check the engine oil before starting the
engine or at least in 5 minutes after the
engine is stopped.
When trying to use new oil from a
different manufacturer or oil with
different viscosity, drain used oil
completely before adding new oil.
