z Operation
First connect the red quick contact connector clamp

to the positive terminal (“+”) of the battery.
Then connect the black quick contact connector
clamp

to the negative terminal (“-”) of the battery.
During the measurement process, the device can be
fixed to the vehicle body using the magnetic strips

on the back of the device.
z Testing batteries and alternators
z Select operating mode
The device automatically detects whether a 6 V or
12 V battery is connected.
If this function does not work (e.g. discharged 12 V
battery is detected as a 6 V battery), then set the
selector switch

on the front of the device to 6 V or
12 V, depending on the type of battery or alternator
to be tested.
z Battery test/Starting capability
If only the “very low charged” LED lights up, the
battery charge level is low. In this LED status the
electrical voltage in 6 Volt operating mode is
approximately 5.8 Volt and in 12 Volt operating
mode it is approximately 11.5 Volt. The battery
must be recharged.
If the “half charged” LED lights up, the battery is
approximately half charged. In this LED status the
