4. Fuse gets blown due to excessive current
ow through it. Below could be a few reasons
for it.
a. Wrongly rated fuse assembled
(5 Ampere fuse installed in a 15 Ampere
fuse slot)
b. Short circuit due to faulty wiring
c. Over-loaded electrical system
d. Faulty auxiliary battery
5. Figure shows a good fuse and a blown fuse
respectively.
6. Check the fuse manually by pulling out the
fuse from its socket.
: Avoid using Multimeter to check
fuse continuity. It could damage electrical
components and may show false reading
sometimes.
7. Replace a blown fuse with a spare fuse of
same Amperage.
Never replace a blown fuse with a
spare fuse of lower or higher amperage.
8. If the fuse blows out repeatedly, contact
nearest UV service point.
