F77 Brake Pad Replacement
• Brake pads play a pivotal role in safety of the motorcycle, the rider and the
other road users.
• Brake pads should be replaced before it is worn out completely.
• Brake pads wear off as per the usage.
• It is impossible to determine the life of the brake pad without looking into
the parameters like ride pattern, road condition, density of the trafc, speed
of operation etc.
• Brake pads are considered as wear and tear items.
Tools Required/Items required:
• 3 mm drift pin
• Ball peen hammer
• 6 mm Hex socket key (Allen key)
• Gloves
Steps for Rear Brake Pad Replacement
1. Check the brake pad wear. If the
brake pad is worn out, the pad needs
to be replaced.
2. If the brake pad needs replacement,
remove the cover of rear brake uid
reservoir.
• T-30 Torx key
• 300 mm Drift punch
• Nose plier
