3.7 - CONNECTION

The gas connection must b e carried out
only by a qualied installer who must re-
spect and apply that foreseen b y releva nt
laws in force in the local prescriptions of
the supply company . Incorrect installation
can cause damage to persons, animals
and ob j ects for which the manufacturer
cannot b e held responsib le.
If ou smell gas:
a) Do not operate electric switches,
the telephone or any other ob j ect that
may cause sparks;
b ) Immediately open doors and
windows to create air current
to purify the room;
c) Shut the gas cocks.

If this precaution is not taen, triggering

W hen the sy stem connections hav e b een completed,
the circuit can be lled.
This operation must b e performed carefully , respect-
ing the following phases:
- open the radiator ve nt va lve s and make sure the
automatic va lve is worki ng properly in the b oiler.
- open the lling tap gradually, making sure that
the automatic air release va lve s installed on the
syst em work properly .
- close the radiator air release va lve s as soon as
water comes out.
- check the pressure gauge until pressure reaches
approxi mately 0.8/1 b ar.
- close the lling tap and bleed air once again
through the radiator air release va lve s.
3.8 - FILLING THE SY STEM
W ith the purpose to alw ays assure a minimum
water ow through the heat echanger, also in
the case in w hich all the thermostatic valves,
that are on the heating circuit, are closed, fo-
resee the mounting, among the ow and return
pipes, of an automatic bpass, or mae sure
that, at least one radiator of C.H. circuit, is
alw ays open. Unical AG S.p.A. declines every
responsib ility in the case of damages to peo-
ple, animals or things, caused b y the missed
ob servance of the ab ove statement.
