WEEKLY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
In addition to the DAILY PROCEDURE, approximately once a week (depending on how much printing
you’re doing, less frequently needed if you print less often), you should also clean around the edges of
the printhead with the De-Plasticizing Solution

NOTE: Do not use the De-Plasticizing Solution in the printhead and avoid contact with the
bottom metal plate of the printhead, the De-Plasticizing Solution should be used only to clean
up dried up ink from AROUND the printhead as shown in the above video.
VACATION MODE MAINTENANCE
“Vacation Mode” maintenance is defined as the procedure you need to follow if you intend on
leaving your printer idle for more than 2-3 days, and up to 2-4 weeks. Such as if you’re going on
vacation. The items and components needed in this Vacation Mode Maintenance procedure are
all included with the UNINET DTF 1000 Maintenance Pack.

First, run a print head nozzle test to make sure you do not have any clogs. If the nozzle test
shows any evidence of clogs (broken lines), run a cleaning cycle and repeat the nozzle test. Use
cleaning solution if necessary to resolve any issues.
Repeat as needed. Then continue with the maintenance as follows:
