gas valve, conversion to or from Natural Gas/LPG as part of the service schedule or if
incorrect combus-tion is suspected (see section 9).
8.1.2 Maintenance
Before commencing any servicing or maintenance work, carry out an initial inspection of the
system as follows:
Inspect the flue, pipe work and electrical connections for indications of damage or
deterioration.
Inspect the air supply and ventilation arrangements of the installation.
Check the heating and water system, in particular the condition of radiator valves,
evidence of leakage from the heating system and dripping hot water taps.
Carry out inspection or maintenance in accordance with table 8.1 below.
8.1.3 Checking the CO/CO2 ratio
NOTE:
Checking/adjustment of the CO/CO2ratio is re-quired in the following instances:
replacement of gas valve; conversion to or from Natural Gas/LPG; or if an incorrect
combustion is suspected.
NOTE:
The boiler is fitted with a flue gas analysis point A suitable flue gas analyser can be
con-nected to this point to establish the combus-tion performance of the boiler.
