3.2.7 Setting the maximum temperature (scald
protection)

Danger!
Risk of being scalded by hot water.
The water temperature at the draw-off
points can reach up to 60 °C.
> When using an electronicVED exclusive
electric instantaneous water heater, be
aware of the risk of scalding from high
outlet temperatures.
> Set your electronicVED exclusive to a
maximum of 43 °C if you want to be pro-
tected from scalding.
The scald protection function can only be deactivated at
the factory.
> Press the
Memo and eco buttons simultaneously to
access the
Menu.

The selected maximum temperature is displayed on the top
line of the water temperature display screen.

It is not possible to request a higher water tem-
perature than the temperature selected and con-
firmed using the
ok button. Also note that the
maximum temperature interacts with the
Com-
fort temperature
function. For example,
there is no benefit to setting a maximum tem-
perature which is the same as the comfort
temperature.
