Double Scan (Maxilla) Patient Positioning
 Before exposure to the Maxilla, the chin is moved down by
about 9 cm (3.54 inch).
 Double Scan (Maxilla) Patient Positioning is the same
as Double Scan (Mandible) Patient Positioning.
TMJ Patient Positioning
1. Remove the Normal Chinrest and insert the Special Chinrest into the
equipment.
2. Insert the Special Bite A into the Special Chinrest.
3. Use the Temple Supports OPEN/CLOSE wheel on the handle frame to widen
the Temple Supports.
4. Guide the patient to the equipment.
