Appendix 2. Warranty and Replacement Policies
The warranty period of the product is one year after its delivery to the customer. If any proof of material or
process error can be provided, Vathin Medical agrees to replace the product free of charge. To this end,
Vathin Medical shall not bear any transportation cost or risk. If this option is feasible, Vathin Medical may
repair the product due to material or process errors. Vathin Medical reserves the right to choose between
repair and replacement options in each specific case.
Vathin Medical shall have the right to request the technical department or equivalent at the customer's site to
repair the product under the proper guidance of Vathin Medical. Any defective Vathin digital video monitor
must be disposed of by the person authorized by Vathin Medical. In order to prevent infection, it is strictly
forbidden to transport contaminated medical equipment. The medical equipment (the product or
endoscopes) must be disinfected on site before being shipped to Vathin medical. The cleaning and
disinfection procedures described in Chapter IV must be followed. Vathin Medical reserves the right to return
contaminated medical equipment to the sender.
