IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This manual contains all instructions of safety, installation
and operation for XTRA series Maximum Power Point
Tracking (MPPT) controller. "The controller" as referred to
in this manual.
General Safety Information
• Read carefully all the instructions and warnings in the

anual before installation.
• No user serviceable components inside the controller.
DO NOT disassemble or attempt to repair t
he
c
ontroller.
• Mount the controller indoors. Avoid exposure t
he
c
omponents and do not allow water to enter t
he
c
ontroller.
• Install the controller in a well ventilated place. Th
e
c
ontroller’s heat sink may become very hot durin
g
oper
ation.
• Suggest installing appropriate external
fuses/breakers.
• Make sure to switch off all PV array connections a
nd
t
he battery fuse/breakers before controller installati
on
and adj
ustment.
• Power connections must remain tight to avoi
d
ex
cessive heating from loose connection.
