1 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations! You have chosen the best and the most reliable air-conditioning system on the
market.
These instructions are given for the use and the correct maintenance and some suggestions to
solve the most common inconvenients.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Read carefully this manual before using the system.
- Use the air-conditioner only for the use for which it is designed.
- Don't try to use a damaged air-conditioner. In case of erratic functioning, switch it off and cut off the
power supply to the air-conditioning system.
- Before any maintenance operation and before accessing any internal parts, cut off the power
supply.
- The manufacturer declines any responsibility in case of damages due to the non-observance of
installation instructions or because of improper use of the air-conditioner. Any misuse voids the
warranty.
- The non-observance of safety rules implies a fire risk in case of short circuit.
- This air-conditioner works correctly and without any risk when it is completely installed and
commissioned.
- The remote infra-red control batteries contains polluting substances. Once exausted, dispose
them lawfully.
- The sytem contains moving parts (fans) and parts that can get very hot (compressor): don't clean
or maintain the system while it is working.
- Pay attention to set the room temperature to be comfortable.
- For a correct use, the air-conditioning unit must operate only within the suggested temperatures
range "Functioning limits" in the installation manual. If the unit works beyond these limits, there can
be a risk of operational defects and some air-conditioner parts may be damaged.
- It is important that the air-conditioning unit is switched off before stopping the on board generator.
- Don't obstruct the air flow of the air-conditioner (outlet and inlet grills) with clothes or any other
material.
