3 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.4- FUNCTIONING MODES
The AUTO mode is the default functioning
mode. The Vega MK3 control panel brings 3
more functioning modes: D = Dehumidify: the
system runs with cycles of 30 minutes every
6 hours; during the functioning the
compressor is limited to a fixed temperature
of 22°. AF = Automatic special: the air-
conditioner makes a short defrosting cycle
every 30 minutes. FO= Fan only mode.
To access these functions, with the system in
OFF, press and keep pressed the on/off
button (1) for 5 seconds until the display will
show the selected mode. Every pressure will
show the next mode. The mode is memorized
after 3 seconds. The mode remains in
memory until a different mode is selected.
A:
Automatic standard
d:
Dehumidifying
AF:
Automatic special
1.5 ANTIFREEZE FUNCTION
Connecting the optional temperature sensor MSENS activates automatically the antifreeze function.
As the sensor detects the evaporator icing it will start the antifreeze routine. This function as well as
the AF mode is available only with units in RC version (reverse cycle)
1.6 DISPLAY DIMMING
The MK3 remote panel is equipped with a light sensor which automatically dims the display and the
LEDs as the ambient light is reduced.
1.7 FUNCTIONING AND ALARM MESSAGES
The display point (7) shows the compressor status: a fixed point means that the compressor is
running, a blinking point means that there is a delay (up to 6 minutes) before the compressor start.
The HP message means that the system is in alarm. See par. 6 “Troubleshooting”. To restart the
system you need to power off and on again.
1.8 - OPTIONAL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The standard temperature sensor is positioned in the remote control panel (both MK2 and MK3
panels). If this solution doesn't meet your requirement, it is available as option an additional remote
sensor which plugs into the control box and automatically overrides the standard sensor.
