5.2 Working with provisional drive
Should the portioning computer of the machine fail, it is possible to
continue operating the machine using provisional drive.
• Press the OFF key on the machine control panel.
• Switch off the main switch of the machine.
• Pull the trolley out of the trolley hoist of the lifting/tipping device and
dismantle the right-hand machine cover.
• Switch on the provisional drive switch on the rear of the electrical
control panel (rocker switch).
• Re-fit the right-hand machine cover.
• Switch the main switch of the machine back on.
• Press the ON key on the machine control panel.
• Press the knee lever
The message ”PROVISIONAL DRIVE” appears in the display of the
portioning computer. In this mode, you can straight-fill at approximately
50% of nominal speed or run the hopper empty.
• Inform VEMAG Customer Service.
