To change the tones, select the desired digit using

Your Dealer may have pre-programmed Auto-Dial
telephone number memories into your radio.
To dial a number, press the
[
A
]
/

key to select the
Auto-Dial memory number list provided by your
Dealer or Network Administrator, then press the
PTT
switch. The DTMF tones sent during the dialing se-
quence will be heard in the speaker.
In the
VX-459
, press (or press and hold) the assigned
Programmable key, then press the front panel’s nu-
meric key corresponding to the Auto-Dial memory
number list provided by your Dealer or Network Ad-
ministrator. The DTMF tones sent during the dialing
sequence will be heard in the speaker.
