3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Trinergy™ Cube features several different operating modes, which are listed in para. 2.1 on page 7.
Trinergy™ Cube automatically selects the most suitable operating mode for the application.
When Trinergy™ Cube is switched on, as described in Procedure 1, the touch screen displays the “System
in bypass” condition (see Fig. 7 on page 13) until the operator starts the inverter.

3.1. Single UPS – Switching to automatic operating mode
With the Trinergy™ Cube system in bypass (see Fig. 7 on page 13), press the “CONTROL” button to
switch to automatic mode. Enter the “Passcode” in the pop up (see Fig. 8 - on page 14) and then press
“Start” in the control pop up (see Fig. 9 - on page 14) to start the inverter.
The UPS starts in VFI mode (see Fig. 9 on page 14) and remains in this condition for a predetermined
period, during which time the relevant electrical characteristics are monitored. At the end of this period,
which may last for several days depending on the conditions being measured, Trinergy™ Cube selects
the operating mode that will supply the load as efficiently as possible without negatively affecting
electrical characteristics such as power factor and current distortion.
