Removingtheairfilter (03_11, 03_12)
Remove the side fairing unscrewing the 2 screws A. Take off air cleaner cover «D»
after having unscrewed the 6 fixing screws «C», then take out the filter. Clean with
water and car shampoo, afterwards dry with compressed air and submerge in a rec-
ommended oil and petrol mixture in ratio of 50%. Afterwards squeeze it, leave it to dry
and mount it again.
CAUTION
IN CASE OF RIDING ON DUSTY ROADS IT IS ADVISABLE TO CLEAN THE AIR
FILTER MORE FREQUENTLY THAN INDICATED IN THE RELEVANT CHAPTER
ON SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE.
