Why is my VEVOR CL-280 Chiller refrigerating capacity reduced?
    • A
      andrewweissAug 7, 2025
Reduced refrigerating capacity in your VEVOR Chiller after prolonged use can stem from refrigerant leakage or insufficient refrigerant levels, poor heat dissipation, or dust accumulation blocking the condenser radiator fins. Contact a certified technician to inspect and replenish the refrigerant. Improve heat dissipation and air ventilation. Also, clear any dust from the air inlet and other components, and reduce the water volume according to the specifications.

What to do if my VEVOR CL-280 compressor stops working?
    • N
      Norman RiveraAug 13, 2025
If the compressor on your VEVOR Chiller stops, it could be due to high air and water temperatures causing high internal pressure, a faulty heat protector, or capacitor failure. Try improving heat dissipation and air ventilation. If the problem persists, replace the capacitor or heat protector.

How to calibrate the water temperature on my VEVOR CL-280?
    • M
      Michelle HamiltonAug 18, 2025
If the displayed water temperature on your VEVOR Chiller differs from the actual water temperature, you can calibrate it. Press and hold the “SET” button for 10 seconds to enter the Temperature Error Adjustment Function. The display will show “CA”. Use the up or down arrows to adjust the displayed figure to match the difference between the actual and displayed temperatures (tolerance CA = actual water temp - displayed water temp), within a range of +4 to -4. After 10 seconds without adjustment, the control panel will show the adjusted temperature.

What to do if my VEVOR CL-280 Chiller continues to run after reaching the set temperature?
    • Q
      qlucasAug 25, 2025
If your VEVOR Chiller continues to run even after reaching the set temperature, the temperature sensor may be incorrectly placed or faulty. Turn off or replace the heating switch. Refer to the operating instructions to adjust the temperature control.

How to troubleshoot a VEVOR CL-280 with a blank LCD screen?

      Andrew MontesAug 30, 2025
If the LCD on your VEVOR Chiller isn’t displaying anything and the machine isn’t working, it could be due to a bad power connection, a blown fuse, or a broken circuit. Replace the fuse, check the power switch and plug, and ensure the unit is plugged into an outlet with the correct voltage and frequency.
