A.6 AC CAP Measure
The following sections describe the AC CAP measure commands.
A.6.1 Measurement range
Co mmand :CAPSIM:CAL:STEP:VALUE <step>, <value>
De s cript ion Command will set the desired step calibration value.
Para m ete rs <step> The calibration step to set the simulator to. Must be a
pos itive integer.
<value> The new calibration value, in femtof arads.
Re spons e Ex a mpl e :CAPSIM:CAL:STEP:VALUE 17, 398320
Co mmand :CAPSIM:CAL:STEP:VALUE? <step>
De s cript ion Command will return the current calibration value for the step.
Para m ete rs <step> The calibration step. Must be a positive integer.
Ex a mple :CAPSIM:CAL:STEP:VALUE? 17

Co mmand :CAPSIM:CAL:WRITEALL
De s cript ion Command will record the calibration st ep values into the
EEPROM. This is the only way to save the calibration data over
bet ween power cycles.
Ex a mple CAPSIM:CAL:WRITEALL.
Co mmand :ACCAP:RANGE <range>
De s cript ion Command will set the cur rent range of the AC CAP
measurement. Will also set the ranging mode to manual.
Para m ete rs <range> The new range in ρF. Must be one of the following:
– 40
– 400
– 4000
– 40000
Ex a mple :ACCAP:RANGE 4000
