4.8.1 Viega ProPress XL-C Installation

installing Viega ProPress XL-C (Copper)
󶈵ttings. Failure to follow all instructions may
result in extensive property damage, serious
injury, or death.
Use only rings that are compatible with ProPress
XL-C 󶈵ttings.
■ Use of incompatible rings will result in an improper
connection.
■ Do not mix actuators and rings from di󶈴erent
manufacturers.
■ Do not use rings intended for XL Bronze 󶈵ttings.
▶ Check the sealing element, separator ring, and grip ring for correct 󶈵t:
■ The tube end is not bent or damaged.
■ The tube is deburred.
■ The correct sealing element (EPDM) is in the 󶈵tting.
