Tipp: Einstellung Entkupplermodus
Der Decoder kann so eingestellt werden, dass bei
AktivierungeinerTelex-KupplungdieLokomotive
automatisch die notwendigen Bewegungsabläufe
macht, um die Waggons abzukuppeln. Die Loko-
motivefährtganzkurzinRichtungderWaggons,
umdieKupplungenzuentspannen,aktiviertdann
dieKupplungmitvollerSpannungfürkurzeZeit
umdieKupplungsmechanikzuaktivieren.Danach
wird die Spannung reduziert, um den Elektroma-
gnet in der Kupplung zu schonen; diese reduzierte
Spannung reicht, um die z.B. schon angehobene
Kupplung in dieser Stellung zu halten. Danach be-
wegtsichdieLokomotiveinGegenrichtung(also
wegvondenWaggons),hältan,unddeaktiviert
die Kupplung.
Beispiel: An AUX 3 ist eine Telex-Kupplung ange-
schlossen, die hinten an der Lok montiert ist. Die-
seFunktionwirüberF1gesteuert(Default-Einstel-
lung).DieCVssindfolgenderweiseauszufüllen:

Tipp:
WennmananbeidenLokomotivseitenjeeinen
Entkuppler einbauen möchte, aber dafür nur ei-
nenFunktionsausgangverwendenmöchte,kann
manbeideEntkopplerz.B.mitAUX3verbinden,
unddazuCV117verwenden.“Entkuppelnjenach
Fahrtrichtung”bedeutet,dassdieLokomotivesich
immersoverhält,alsobsie(inFahrtrichtung)hin-
ten abkuppeln würde. In diesem Beispiel würden
beide Entkuppler angehoben, aber die Lok fährt
inderaktuellenFahrtrichtungvondenWaggons
weg.
Hint: Uncoupler settings
Thedecodercanbeconguredinsuchamanner,
thatactivationofaTelex-couplercausesallthe
necessarymovementsofthelocomotiveforun-
couplingfromthewagons.Thelocomovesalitle
bit towards the wagons to unload the coupler, and
powerstheTelex-couplerwithfullvoltagefora
shorttimetoactivatethemechanicofthecoupler.
The power will be reduced to a lower limit which is
sufcienttokeepthecoupleractive.Nowtheloco
movestooppositedirection,i.e.awayfromthe
wagons,stopsanddeactivatesthecoupler.
Example: a Telex-coupler at the rear of the loco-
motiveisconnectedtoAUX3.Thisoutputshallbe
activatedbyF1,ThecorrespondingCVshaveto
be programmed as shown below:

Hint:
If you want to use Telex-couplers on both sides
of the loco but use only one function-output, you
canforinstanceconnectbothcouplerstoAUX3
andcongureCV117accordingly.„Uncoupling
dependingondirection“means,thatthelocoacts
insuchawaythatuncouplingisexpectedtotake
placeatthereverseendcomparedtolastdirec-
tionofmovement.Inthiscasebothcouplersare
activated,butthelocomovesawayfromthewag-
ons in the actual direction.
