1. Drain the DHW cylinder on the DHW side.

Please note
Material losses may result if the DHW cylin-
der is drained with the aid of a vacuum
pump and the air vent valve stays closed.
Open the air vent valve during draining.

3. To prevent cleaning agents and contaminants from
entering the pipework, separate the DHW cylinder
from the pipework.
4. Remove loose deposits with a high pressure
cleaner.

Please note
Pointed or sharp cleaning tools will damage
the cylinder interior.
Only use plastic cleaning equipment to clean
the inside.
5. Use a chemical cleaning agent to remove hard
deposits that cannot be removed with a high pres-
sure cleaner.

Please note
Cleaning agents containing hydrochloric acid
will attack the DHW cylinder material.
Never use such cleaning agents.
Danger
Cleaning agent residues can cause poison-
ing.
Always observe the information provided by
the cleaning agent manufacturer.
6. Fully drain all cleaning agent.
7. Flush the DHW cylinder thoroughly after cleaning.
Checking and replacing the protective magnesium anode
Check the protective magnesium anode.
If the anode has degraded to

10-15 mm, replace the
protective magnesium anode.
Note
A chain anode (accessories) is available for tight
spaces.
